Sannuo Chemical held an emergency response drill for sudden environmental incidents.
This exercise simulated a hydrogen chloride storage tank leak at the company’s Class C tank farm, with the potential to trigger secondary environmental pollution and jeopardize the quality of nearby water bodies and the atmospheric environment. It comprehensively demonstrated all elements and the entire response chain—covering information reporting, emergency response, on-site handling, emergency monitoring, medical rescue, evacuation and resettlement, and other critical steps—thereby fully highlighting the coordinated and collaborative emergency response capabilities of all departments and units.

In accordance with the requirements of relevant national laws and regulations, including the Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Regulations on the Administration of Environmental Protection for Construction Projects, and the Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment, the project proponent (Luoyang Sannuo Chemical Co., Ltd.) has commissioned the assessment agency (Henan Songqing Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd.) to undertake the environmental impact assessment for the “Expansion and Reconstruction Project of Luoyang Sannuo Chemical Co., Ltd. with an annual output of 5,000 tons of P507 and 2,000 tons of AD290.”

Project Name: Construction of the Expansion Project for Luoyang Sannuo Chemical Co., Ltd., with an annual output of 3,000 tons of P507 and 2,000 tons of AD290. Project Overview:
This is a renovation and expansion project located in the Petrochemical Industry Cluster Zone of Luoyang City. On the reserved land within the existing plant area, one production line for 3,000 t/a of 2-ethylhexyl phosphonic acid mono-2-ethylhexyl ester (P507) and one production line for 2,000 t/a of bis(2,4,4-trimethylpentyl)phosphinic acid (AD290) will be constructed.

The site selection for the 16,800-ton-per-year rare-metal extractant upgrading and renovation project of Luoyang Sannuo Chemical Co., Ltd. is located in the Luoyang Petrochemical Industry Cluster Zone. The environmental impact assessment report has now been completed, and it is hereby made public along with the public participation statement.
