This product is a colorless, transparent liquid with the characteristic odor of ethers.
Main uses
1. Organic solvents: It is suitable for dissolving nonpolar substances such as oils, fats, rubber, and natural resins, and can also serve as a reaction medium or diluent in organic synthesis.
2. Pesticide adjuvants: As an inert ingredient in pesticide formulations, it is used to enhance the solubility and dispersibility of pesticides, thereby improving their efficacy.
3. Chemical Intermediates: It is used in organic synthesis as a synthetic precursor for ether derivatives and can participate in addition, substitution, and other reactions.
4. Other fields: It can serve as a component of lubricants or defoamers, or be used as an extractant in extraction–separation processes.
